I see dresses and shoes and cardigans of green

Again, a bit of a bastardisation-title. But although my head's still firmly in sales-and-winter-clothing, spring collections are arriving in the shops now, and from what I can see, there's a couple of trends emerging. The most obvious being GREEN. A fresh, zingy, grass-green shade has cropped up in several places. I love these greens, so that's not a bad thing for me! (I don't follow high fashion closely enough to be able to identify the source, but I'm sure there must be one? The botanical prints remind me a bit of Erdem...)

I think this shade looks wonderfully fresh with white, and little blue, red or yellow accents. But it looks good with royal purples too, and as the black dress shows, if you're scared to go full-kermit, it pops as an accent against black. White generally looks terrible on me, so that's what I'll be pairing it with, even if I think this green looks its nicest against a bright crisp white. Like Wimbledon in outfit form. Oh, for summer!

  2. Oooo, green. Those are yummy; I particularly like the little Topshop bag and floral dress (and the green dress is also lush; where's that from, she asks greedily)... I've already got a cardie in that sort of shade - it has white intarsia bows worked through it, and I remember wearing it last summer with white, and yellow and red accents as you describe! I hadn't thought to try it with purple, I must experiment with that!

  3. Is that green dress H&M, i saw it at the weekend and loved it. I noticed this shade popping up in loads of shops.
Re the sizing in One Stop Plus, i found it generous but i think it might have been the style of the dress, La Redoute stuff is generally small. Its hard to know which size to get! x

  4. I love love Green, especially grass & emerald green for spring. I plan to wear it with navy, white, red and black. I`m like the idea of a green belt & bag with navy & white polkadots.

  5. I can't find the the comment link on your new stuff FOTD. BUT I have that same problem with the MAC concealer what one did you buy from nars? I might have to pop over to their counter and investigate as MAC just isn't doing it for me either! Foundation looks fab on you btw. Also I agree with the lipglass beautiful colours, terribly gooey xx Let me know about the concealer if you have twitter @simranxbx

  7. Hi, tried to comment on your post about NARS sheer glow foundation, but couldn't find a link to do so. I love the coverage it seems to give and your skin does look flawless from the pictures you've posted! Just wondering, what shade are you wearing? :)
